It's almost post-football season again in the United States and the NFL Super Bowl 50 is going to kick off on February 7, Sunday, which is two weeks after the AFC and NFC title games.

According to a report in CBS Sports, this year's Super Bowl 50 will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. As is tradition in the league, the Super Bowl will also have halftime entertainment for fans in the stadium as well as those watching the game's broadcast. This year, multi-Grammy winning band Coldplay will headline the halftime show, together with Beyonce.

Coldplay is a British band that has won seven Grammy Awards. Frontlined by Chris Martin, the group is known for its popular songs such as "Yellow," "The Scientist," "Fix You" and "Viva La Vida." This will be the first time that the group will be playing at the Super Bowl.

Beyonce, on the other hand, is no stranger to the Super Bowl stage, having performed for its halftime show in 2013, with her energetic performance of her hit songs. She also performed with former Destiny's Child groupmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

According to another report in USA Today Sports, Beyonce's inclusion in the halftime show this year will be "giving it a much needed boost with her energy and songs."

Beyonce and Coldplay have previously collaborated on "Hymn for the Weekend," a song which is part of Coldplay's new album titled "A Head Full of Dreams."

CBS Sports will have a live broadcast of the event on the network, with the game kicking off at 6:30 p.m. E.T. For online viewers, a livestream of the event will also be available through this link via the CBSSports.com website.

The Super Bowl 50 pits the AFC title winner against whoever wins the NFC title, which will be settled by January 24.

The following teams are vying for the AFC title: 1. Broncos, 2. Patriots, 3. Bengals, 4. Texans, 5. Chiefs and 6. Steelers. As of writing, only the Broncos, Patriots, Chiefs and Steelers are left to compete for the title as the Texans and Bengals have been eliminated from the Playoffs.

Meanwhile, for the NFC title, the teams are: 1. Panthers, 2. Cardinals, 3. Vikings, 4. Redskins, 5. Packers and 6. Seahawks. However, as of writing, the Vikings have been defeated by the Seahawks and the game is still ongoing for the Packers and the RedSkins.
