Nicki Minaj and her rumored beau Nas have been spotted in New York, further fueling dating rumors. Are they really just friends?
A source tells E! News that Nicki and Nas are still getting to know each other.
"They share a really close friendship and always has each other's back," the informant dished. "Nicki is single now and dating but nothing serious. Nas is a best friend to her so as of now nothing is stirring up. People always joke around though that they make a great couple!"

Contrary to their report, TMZ believes that they are already together.
The rumored couple does not get to see each other as much as they would like to because of their busy schedules. Despite that, the couple finds other ways to stay in touch for as much as they can.
An unnamed source close to the pair informed TMZ that Nicki and Nas FaceTime every day. They also text each other non-stop.
Their schedules may be packed but Nicki made time to fly all the way to New York to celebrate her man's 44th birthday. Although the pair is reportedly taking things slow, such heart-tugging instances prove otherwise.
The private celebration took place at The Pool Lounge in New York City.
Snaps from the birthday bash posted by their friends show how the couple was all smiles. One clip from the party also showed Nicki and Nas arm in arm as the crowd sang the celebrant his birthday song.
When Nicki appeared on Ellen in May, she denied the dating rumors. She said that she was single and that she intended to go a year without dating men. On the other hand, Nicki said that she might make an exception for Nas because according to her, he is dope.
Nicki and former beau Meek Mill confirmed their split early this year.
