A source spoke to E! News about the reason for their breakup. It was revealed that the two had a hard time maintaining their relationship due to their busy schedules. However, it was said that the two are still on good terms.

With that, there are rumors that Dobrev has already began seeing another man. The actress was seen with the former star of "Gossip Girl," Chase Crawford. The two were seen at the Villa Lounge Bar in West Hollywood. They were then seen together heading over to the Bootsy Bellows nightclub.

However, reports revealed that the two are only friends. There has yet to be news confirming any romantic relationship between the two. Nevertheless, fans are still curious as to where their friendship could go now that Dobrev is confirmed single.

Aside from Dobrev's love life, fans of the actress are also wondering about the possibility of her return to "The Vampire Diaries." According to Collider, the executive producer of the series, Caroline Dries, recently spoke out about the matter.

She said, "No. I would say that, if The CW called today and was like, 'By the way, Season 7 is the last season,' then I think we would scramble to make sure that she was in the finale. But as of right now, we're acting like the show will go on, so no."
