Nintendo Reveals 'Fire Emblem Warriors' DLC Details
Nintendo has finally released the DLC details for the upcoming "Fire Emblem Warriors" when it is released in the US.
Just less than a month before the hack-and-slash game "Fire Emblem Warriors" is released in the US, Nintendo has finally revealed details regarding the additional content of the game after it is released. Nintendo just announced that "Fire Emblem Warriors" will include three DLC packs which will introduce new playable characters as well as weapons from the different "Fire Emblem" games released.
Unfortunately, while the company did announce that three DLC packs will follow the game once it is released, no further details were given as to what they entail. However, Nintendo did mention what month they'll each be available for purchase.
As reported by GameSpot, the first DLC pack will be released in December and may include content influenced by the most recent "Fire Emblem Fates." It would be followed by the next DLC pack which is scheduled for release in February of next year featuring content inspired by "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon." The last DLC pack will quickly follow in March, and it will feature content reminiscent of the classic "Fire Emblem Awakening." All of the DLC packs will be priced at $8.99 each.
There is also a Season Pass that would become available as soon as the game is launched. Priced at $19.99, it will include all of the DLC packs which will become available as they are released. Furthermore, players who purchase the Season Pass will also receive a bridal costume for Lucina.
While the game will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS, the company has confirmed a special edition exclusive only for the Switch. The special edition will come with a boxed version of the game containing colorful character cards, a poster and a CD music set.
"Fire Emblem Warriors" will have its US and Europe release on Oct. 20.
