'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Episode 11 Spoilers: Will the Underworld Be Introduced in the Fall Finale?
There are a lot of speculations that the characters of "Once Upon a Time" will get to explore the afterlife in the next half of the fifth season, and fans wonder if the Underworld will be introduced in the upcoming fall finale of the show.
Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) will bring back the former Dark Ones in the next episode, which is titled "Swan Song," and according to Carter Matt, since the former Dark Ones will be brought back from the Underworld, fans may briefly get a glimpse of Hades' world. However, the website noted that details about the Underworld might be further explained in the next half of the season next year.
Viewers are excited for the second part of "Once Upon a Time" season 5 since it will now tackle more of Greek mythology. According to Hypable, Megara and Hercules have been both cast already, and they will be portrayed by Kacey Rohl and Jonathan Whitesell, respectively. The website also said that Greg Germann is being speculated to play the role of Hades, the God of the Underworld.
Meanwhile, O'Donoghue sat down with The Hollywood Reporter for an interview to discuss about "Darker" Hook. The actor said that Hook is still mad at Emma (Jennifer Morrison) after she turned him into a Dark One, when she knows that he won't be able to fight it. "He knew he didn't have the willpower to do that. So he's more of a pissed off boyfriend than wanting Emma to die in any kind of way. But at this stage, he's just so angry, and when the Dark One gets angry, you do insane things," he said.
When he was asked if there's still a possibility that Emma and Hook will get back together, O'Donoghue said "it's complicated." "I don't know if that could work," the 34-year-old actor said. "Much like most of their relationship, to be honest," he added.
Watch the fall finale of "Once Upon a Time" this Sunday, Dec. 6, on ABC.
