Oppo A30 Launched; Specs Include 5-Inch Display, 3 GB of RAM, Snapdragon 801
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has recently announced their newest device in the A series. According to Gadgets 360, the smartphone is dubbed as the Oppo A30 and it is now listed on the company's China site. However, it does not come yet with details on the device's price and availability.
The device did not make any grand entrance but it's noted to be similar to the OnePlus X Champagne in terms of the design and the specifications. Oppo and OnePlus were previously rumored to be connected to each other.
The Oppo A30 sports a 5-inch Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) display just like the OnePlus variant. The listing in the site also detailed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 quad-core SoC to run at 2.3GHz. Along with it is a 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.
The mobile device is also said to have an internal memory storage of 16 GB but it is not known yet whether it will come with an expandable storage. Android Headlines also noted that the Oppo A30 is designed with a metal frame which is placed in between two pieces of glass.
As for the camera specs, the device is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It will also have an 8-megapixel camera located on the front. It will be running with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system paired with Oppo's ColorOS 2.1 UI on top. As for the power capacity, the device will have a non-removable 2,525mAh battery. It will measure 140x69x6.9mm and weigh 138 grams.
It will support Nano-SIM and come with 4G LTE connectivity. It will also include proximity, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer sensors. Since the price of the device is not indicated yet, it is speculated to be around CNY 1,999. Oppo fans who are interested to grab the A30 will have to stay tuned for its availability.
