OS X Yosemite Available for Download: Link to Download Here

Apple's latest operating system for its Macintosh computers has now been released, as announced during Apple's keynote presentation Thursday.

The operating system is of course called OS X Yosemite, and Mac users can download the new OS through the Mac App Store or by going to the Apple website and clicking the "Upgrade Now" button.

As with the previous OS, the OS X 10.9 Mavericks, the new Yosemite is also free to download for Macintosh users.

One of the things that Mac users will notice upon upgrading to the Yosemite is that it looks different from the previous OS, with its new typography, color scheme, and flat design look. Still, with the major interface redesign, the OS still feels familiar to long time users. Also, the design looks like that of the iOS 7.

While the mobile OS and the desktop OS are completely different, Apple seems to have endeavored to make the two work better together.

When it comes to features, one of the most talked about is Continuity, a feature which will allow users to use their iMacs or Macbooks as an extension of their iPhone or iPads. The feature allows for Macbook and iMac users to see notifications on their computer screens instead of having to look at the iPhone or iPad.

The feature also allows for users to make and take calls without having to take out the iPhone. The same applies for SMS.
