As everyone already knows, the Oscars is the closest kin to the Golden Globes, and with DiCaprio bagging one of the most spectacular awards in the industry, a lot of experts are expecting that this year, he will join the roster of actors and actresses who have walked out of the stage with the much-desired award.

While the nominees are yet to be disclosed on Thursday, Jan. 14, a lot of fans are already expecting that DiCaprio's name will be on the list for Best Actor. Numerous outlets say the actor has a really good chance of winning this year. During his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, his humility only made people love him the more and fans are anticipating how he will react when he finally gets an Oscar.

Meanwhile, it is highly expected that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will definitely come out victorious at some point, not just because it proved to be a box office hit but also because it showed a lot of potential in the non-technical aspects.

The rest of the movies that are speculated by multiple outlets to bag awards are as follows: "The Martian," "Mad Max: Fury Road," "The Big Short," "Room," "Spotlight," "Steve Jobs," "Carol," "The Danish Girl," and "Trainwreck."
