'Outlander' Season 2 Spoilers: Claire and Jamie's Daughter Makes Her Debut
About two months into the premiere of "Outlander" season 2, fans are already in a frenzy on social media, especially after the official release date has been revealed. However, it seems the upcoming season won't be all politics and drama as spoilers reveal that fans will finally welcome the daughter of Claire and Jamie into the small screens.
According to E! News, Brianna's casting has been considered as the official confirmation that the much-awaited entry of the character will finally come true for fans who have been waiting to see her. Sophie Skelton has bagged the role, and just as expected, fans are excited to see what the actress can offer.
Variety describes Brianna as an unsurprisingly mature and bull-headed personality. It's not new that she is stubborn since her parents obviously handed over a good amount of strong-willed genes in her blood. It is yet to be revealed how her arrival will affect the journey of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan), but it is speculated that she will take part in the mission to alter the path of history.
Aside from Brianna's arrival, a first look at the events that will take place in season 2 has been revealed. The trailer is hot on "Oulander's" official Facebook page and a lot of fans can't wait to see the first episode.
Season 2 will feature Claire and Jamie's journey to France. The couple will try to get inside the French aristocracy so they can stop the impending Jacobite rebellion. Previous reports also hint that the mission will prove to be a big burden for the two, and pretty soon they will be faced with challenges that will threaten their relationship.
The first season revealed that Prince Charles Stuart (Andrew Gower) is leading the uprising, and to stop the Battle of Culloden from utterly destroying the Scottish people, Claire and Jamie, and possibly Brianna, will try to enter the realm of politics and extravagance.
"Outlander" season 2 starts airing on Starz on Saturday, April 9.
