Paris Jackson Better? Still Struggling as Mother Seeks New Rehab: "This Girl Needs Help"

Paris Jackson is doing better according to her mother Debbie Rowe, although she is still in search for a new rehab facility.

Rowe sent out a Twitter message to Jackson's fans over the weekend, at the request of her daughter. The message was to assure fans that Jackson was doing better and to thank them for their avid support via social media.

"My daughter has asked that I extend a huge thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and support," Rowe tweeted Saturday. "She is strong like her father."

That strength however was tested on Tuesday as reports revealed that Jackson would not be permitted to return home. Doctors at the UCLA Medical Center believe that Jackson is still a "serious danger to herself" according to a report released by TMZ. Without continued "professional help" it is feared that Jackson may still attempt suicide.

Rowe has been in search for a new adolescent rehab facility according TMZ, but was denied a request to move Jackson to Utah. While Rowe believed it to be the "perfect" choice, the facility denied the mother's request fearing an onslaught of paparazzi. A second request for reconsideration was made, although Rowe continues to search for a different facility.

Jackson's current placement at UCLA is in the ward for eating disorders, which Jackson does not have.

The 15-year-old's uncle offered a more promising outcome over the weekend.

"She's doing wonderful right now," her uncle Jackie Jackson told E! News on Saturday at the opening of Michael Jackson ONE, the new Cirque du Soleil show at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. "She's getting better. She should be out soon."

Despite showing a more hopeful side to the public, Rowe was less candid about her fears to friends.

"It's just a tragedy. This girl needs help," she told friends according to TMZ.
