'Person of Interest' Season 5 Spoilers: A Promising Season Ahead
Details of the upcoming season of "Person of Interest" were revealed during the TV Critics Association press tour.
Carrie Preston recently shared some interesting details about the fifth season of "Person of Interest" during the press tour. She revealed that she will be returning to the series, after being absent for two seasons.
Preston previously took on the role of Grace Hendricks, who was Harold Finch's, played by Michael Emerson, fiancée. She was last seen on the series during the third season. However, she explained that she will be reprising her role in season 5 of "Person of Interest."
The actress, who is actually Emerson's wife in real life, shared some interesting insight about how it was to do a series with her husband. According to TV Insider, she stated, "There's something special about looking in the eyes of your real-life husband and at the same time, you're looking in the eyes of this character. It's really fun to do that. He's really loved on that set; I have a bit of a wifely pride."
With that, fans can expect that the series will bring an interesting storyline when it returns to the small screen. The head of CBS, Glenn Geller, also shared some details about how the fifth season will unfold. He teased that fans will not be disappointed with the new season.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, he stated, "We ordered 13 episodes, we hope to get them on this spring. That's what we're targeting right now. Showrunners Jonah Nolan and Greg Plageman have planned a terrific season. Can't wait for the fans of the show to see it. It'll be a real treat for viewers."
However, there has yet to be any news regarding the release of "Person of Interest" season 5. In the meantime, it was stated that the series could release before summer of 2016.
