Pink Wants More Kids: "We Want a Basketball Team" Says Star (VIDEO)

Initially apprehensive about being a mother, Pink has revealed that she is now open to having more kids with her husband, Carey Hart.

Pink did not always have a positive relationship with her mother. As evidenced in her music, several of her lyrics reveal a troubled relationship between the singer and her mom. It's that relationship that Pink says made her apprehensive about motherhood.

"I didn't want kids," the singer, 33, said in an interview with GQ Australia. "I was terrified."

Now two years have passed since Pink gave birth to her first daughter, Willow, and she says she can't be happier.

"I can use the word "happy" and not flinch," she said. "I'm happier than I've ever been, but I'm also still living my life."

The singer admitted that it was her husband who pushed her to start a family with him.

"I had moments where I wanted a kid with Carey. You know - you first fall in love, and you're like, 'We should have kids,' and then it went away," she said. "But he always wanted kids and then we did it, and now it's like, 'F---,' this is so rad. It's more important than anything we've done."

Often singing about feeling like an outcast, Pink says her daughter accepts her the way she is.

"She's not judging me. She's probably the only person who doesn't judge me."

"She's the coolest thing that has ever happened to me," the singer added. "Now I have someone to sing goofy-a-- songs to all day and she likes it."

In fact, Pink was so excited about her first daughter, that she readily admitted in a past interview that she was eager to have even more children.

"We want a basketball team. We want lots and lots and lots," she told E! News when Willow was just five months old.
