PlayStation Plus October 2017 Free Games News: Four New Titles Offered for Free
PlayStation Plus is giving away four titles for free for the month of October.
According to their official blog, "Monster Jam Battlegrounds," "Hustle Kings," "Hue," and "Sky Force Anniversary" will be free to avail this month for PlayStation Plus.
"Monster Jam Battlegrounds," made free for PlayStation 3 players, replicates the world of the Monster Jam arenas filled with monster trucks with roaring engines and smashing action. PS3 players will have the freedom to choose from 23 official Monster Jam trucks to engage in race or freestyle modes. There are also 45 tracks for players to compete in and complete achievements from.
"Hustle Kings," also free for PS3, is a pool game where players can go on one-on-one matches to gain ranks in the online league. They can also go on multiplayer tournaments to do the same. For those who don't want to engage in online ranked gaming, PS3 players can also focus on the daily challenges that can earn them prizes and smart social features.
Meanwhile, PS Vita owners can get "Hue," — which can also be crossed bought on PlayStation 4 — a vibrant puzzle adventure where players can have fun changing the color of their world, leading them to find the protagonist's missing mother.
There's also "Sky Force Anniversary" free for PS Vita gamers. The game is about saving the world from an evil General Mantis by continuously upgrading their aircraft's gear with power-ups. Players can choose from fighters, choppers, tanks, and turrets as vehicles in the games.
Meanwhile, PlayStation is not the only one giving freebies to their console owners.
Ubisoft has offered Tom Clancy's "Ghost Recon Wildlands" will be free for this weekend, Oct. 12–15, for all PlayStation 4 gamers, Express confirmed. This allows players to have a trial of the entire game's content, including the newest player-versus-player update, Ghost War.
