'Pokemon Go' Cheats, Tips & Tricks Guide: How to Gain More XP

The higher the Trainer Level, the higher the possibility of encountering Pokemon with more advanced CP levels. Additionally, it improves one's chances of meeting rare Pokemon in the wild.

Niantic often upgrades their hit augmented reality mobile game "Pokemon Go" to keep things interesting for players. That includes adding new creatures, introducing new items, hosting events, and more. Trainers should keep up if they want to be a force to be reckoned with.

It is a given that a trainer with high XP will have access to better Pokeballs, curatives, creatures and more. Hence, players should not think twice about banking on XP.

For those who want start collecting as much XP as they can, the fastest and easiest way is by evolving Pokemon continuously with a Lucky Egg at hand. With this, players will have twice more XP gains within 30 minutes, especially during a Double XP event.

Again, players who keep track of Niantic's updates should gain an upper hand. For instance, the company launched a Double XP event last Easter which could have quadrupled trainers' XP gains.

Evolving a Pokemon will produce 500 XP. If players want to keep doing so they should keep numerous candy and creatures on hand. The easiest way to evolve Pokemon one after another is by using more common creatures such as Weedles, Pidgeys, and Caterpies. They are not difficult to catch and they require a minimal amount of candies.

Trainers should go on a hunting spree. While they get to catch more creatures evolving, they can also gain new candies.

Niantic recently released update version 1.45.0 for iOS and update 0.75.0 for Android. With the update, trainers will be able to find the items they have gained from spinning GymStops and completing Raid Battles in the Journal. The upgraded Pokemon Collection screen now allows trainers to search with "Defender" and "Legendary."
