'Pokemon GO' Release Date And Update: Game To Be Featured In Niantic GDC Talk
Several fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of "Pokémon GO," the free-to-play augmented reality mobile game developed by Niantic. But until now, it's still uncertain when the game will exactly hit the platform. There are rumors though that say that it will be coming during the 20th Anniversary celebration of the Pokémon Company.
According to a report by Neurogadget, "Pokémon GO" is speculated to be released on Feb. 27, which is the anniversary date of the very first Pokémon video game in Japan. It is also set to come out alongside Niantic's next "Ingress Anomaly."
However, the rumored release date may not be legit as there are reports that the game will be showcased this coming March. As detailed in Game Spot, fans will have a chance to know more about "Pokémon GO" as it will be featured in Niantic's GDC Talk.

The information came from the official website of GDC wherein it wrote that Niantic founder and chief executive John Hanke will show up at the event to discuss "how the company has developed a unique vision for delivering a mobile Pokémon experience that gets would-be trainers into the outdoors."
It also detailed that those who will be at the said event will have the opportunity to get a "first-hand, in-depth look" at how the game will allow players to interact and explore the world together. Aside from that, the collaborative approach to the design and development for the game will also be discussed, as well as the next evolution of augmented reality games for mobile devices.
"Pokemon GO" will be available for Android and iPhone users and will be free to download on Google Play and App Store.
