'Pretty Little Liars' News: Cast Speak Up About Self Confidence
Stars of the hit series "Pretty Little Liars" recently spread some positive messages through their social media accounts.
With the fanbase of the series heavy on females, the ladies behind the series, Lucy Hale, Sasha Pieterse, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, and Shay Mitchell, recently shared an empowering message that focused on self-confidence.
Entertainment Weekly recently featured the girls from "Pretty Little Liars" during their Beyond Beauty series. The girls encouraged their fans to remain comfortable with their selves. Benson spoke about how she previously dealt with acne. She reminded fans that just like her, everyone gets acne, which is why she promotes acne medicine on her social media. She explained that it was her way of promoting self-confidence to her fans.
Aside from Benson's statement, fans will get a chance to learn more about the other girls' ways of promoting self-confidence.
However, not all will be positive for the upcoming episodes. Another star of the series recently shared some details about her character. Janel Parrish, who plays the role of Mona, recently spoke to E! News.
When asked about what her character will be up to in the season to come, she revealed, "I think that this season you see that Mona is still Mona, but it, ultimately, is five years later and she still wants to connect with these girls. She very much wants to be a part of them. They went through something crazy together and even though she still has her Mona-ness — her Mona-isms — ultimately, I think that she does want to help."
With that, fans can expect some shifts in the character dynamics, especially since the show has finally returned with a five-year time jump.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 airs on Freeform every Tuesday nights.
