The actor who plays Toby, Keegan Allen, recently gave The Hollywood Reporter an interview in which he discussed tonight's episode as well as what the rest of the season holds.
It appears that tongith we will see a new and different side of both Toby and Caleb.

"Normally you see these characters with their girlfriends and now we get to see a glimpse of them sans girlfriends, just completely free to be their own entity and on their own roads," Allen told THR.
Allen also discussed what fans can expect to see between Toby and his mother.
"Toby has issues with his past still with his mother and they go on a sleuthing mission that is very intense for him to go through. For her to continue to keep this a secret from her friends is very trying on her relationship," Allen said.
Allen also provided some inside information about the season finale, hinting at a very surprising moment.
"It gets really crazy. There's a point where you can't believe it. There's a definite shock factor going on. There's a shocking moment in it that all the fans will react - I don't even know how they'll react. If there are people who have ben following the show since the beginning it's one of those moments."
