'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6B Spoilers: What Will the Upcoming Winter Premiere Bring?

The first half of the sixth season of "Pretty Little Liars" ended last August, and fans can't wait for the show's comeback this January. It has been months since the show went on a hiatus, and viewers are curious on what will the show bring for its winter premiere.

According to the Latin Times, the girls of "Pretty Little Liars" will now be five years older when it comes back next year. The upcoming episode, which is titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood," will show everyone's lives five years later, such as Alison, (Sasha Pieterse) who is now a teacher, and Spencer (Troian Bellisario), who seems to work in Washington D.C.

While the girls may be too far apart, and have gone on separate lives, Pieterse says that her character will bring everyone back together. In her interview with Variety, the actress said, "I think she loves these girls and they'e such a big part of her life — it's surreal that they're not there … It's really fun to reinvent our characters. You're gonna be able to watch this and it's a totally different show in the best way — we're telling a new story."

The synopsis of the winter premiere reads, "Picking up five years after we last saw the Liars, the girls are not the same people they were when they left Rosewood. Having pursued their own paths and adjusting to a life without 'A,' how will they be able to cope when something happens in Rosewood that forces them to go back to where it all started? Torn between their old habits and their new lives, the Liars must stick around, and together, as relationships are once again put to the test and new secrets are revealed."

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 episode 11 was written by Joseph Dougherty and directed by Ron Lagomarsino. Guest stars include Vanessa Ray, Dre Davis, and Huw James Collins. The show will come back on ABC this Jan. 12, 2016.
