Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Share Engagement Photos
The Kensington Palace has released three engagement photos of the happy couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are set to wed in May.
Following the royal tradition, Prince Harry and his fiancée shared their engagement photos to the world. They were all taken bearlier this week at Frogmore House, in Windsor, England by photographer Alexi Lubomirski. In one photo, Ms. Markle is shown with her hand resting on Prince's Harry's knee. She is wearing a beautiful dress by the British-based label Ralph & Russo, a sheer bodice with embroidered details and a tiered ruffle skirt.
Another one is a black and white photo that shows Ms. Markle with her hands on the royal's face. She is wearing a Victoria Beckham sweater while Prince Harry has on a Burberry coat. The couple also decides to share a more candid snap. The actress is shown looping her arm on her fiancé's with their other hands intertwined as they stroll in the gardens of the Frogmore House.
Prince Harry and Ms. Markle's photographer of choice, Lubomirski, has shot many famous celebrities, including Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Beyoncé. His work has also appeared in Vogue. According to PEOPLE, Lubomirski is actually a prince of the Polish House of Lubomirski. He is said to be the former assistant of Mario Testino, a favourite of the late Princess Diana. It was Testino who photographed many of Prince William and Prince Harry's iconic pictures with their mother. He was also the one who shot Prince William and Kate's engagement photos in 2010.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Ms Markle's wedding will be held on May 19 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. They will be joining the list of royals who exchanged vows in the historic venue. According to a Kensington Palace spokesman, the couple cannot wait to spend the beginning of their married life at Windsor, which holds a special place in their heart.
"Windsor is a very special place for Prince Harry, and he and Ms. Markle have regularly spent time there during the last year," the spokesman said. "They are delighted that the beautiful grounds of Windsor Castle will be where they begin their lives as a married couple."
