Princess Beatrice Hat Stuns at Royal Ascot (PHOTO, VIDEO)
Princess Beatrice's hat for her recent outing to the Royal Ascot event has delighted her fans. The British royal is well known for her range of hats for official royal engagements, and she did not disappoint at the recent event.
The 24 year old royal is fifth in line to the throne, and she recently showed up to Royal Ascot with her sister Eugenie. She appeared in a gold fascinator, which is basically a giant flat circular hat that extends down around her forehead.
The princess is well known internationally for the huge hat she wore to the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
That hat was mocked by some viewers of the wedding on social media sites, but it appears that the criticism has not put Beatrice off.
Princess Beatrice is the elder daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. She is the first female in the line of succession to the thrones of the sixteen Commonwealth realms.
While studying at Goldsmiths, University of London, Princess Beatrice was not expected to undertake regular royal duties, although she did make appearances at some events, such as representing her father at a service of thanksgiving for her aunt Diana, Princess of Wales, in 2007.
