'Rainy Cocoa Series: Ame-con!!' Episode 5 Spoilers: Nana Continues to Prove That She's More than Just a Shop Dog

It seems that Rainy Color's first avid customer, Frederick Ando, will be playing a much more significant role in the struggling café's future on the short-form Japanese anime series, "Ame-iro Cocoa Series: Ame-con!!"

While Nozomu was pondering over Ka'u coffee, the shop dog Nana has put it upon herself to take a leisurely stroll around the island to seemingly check out some of the Rainy Color's competition. However, when the incredibly perceptive Shiba Inu finally reached her intended destination, her reason for walking out on Nozomu finally became clear.

Nana the Dog has just led the curious shop owner to the Ka'u Specialty Coffee stall, where Nozomu encountered Mr. Ando once more.

It can be recalled that it was Mr. Ando who advised Nozomu to check out Ka'u coffee and its potential to bring in more profit to his newly opened café.

But what could Mr. Ando be doing at this stall? Is he the stall's owner or is simply its regular patron? Will Nana's effort of bringing Nozomu close to the people who can tell him more about Ka'u coffee yield her intended result?

More than just being a smart dog, Nana is also a coffee connoisseur who can tell good coffee by merely smelling the grains. And now that she has approved of the locally grown Ka'u coffee, it seems that she will stop at nothing to help Nozomu get all the resources he needs in order to brew this special type of coffee to perfection.

But can Nozomu satisfy Nana and Mr. Ando's discerning tastes? And will he also be able to come up with a new blend that will perfectly combine the flavors of both Japanese and Hawaiian cultures?

"Rainy Cocoa Series Ame-con!!" airs on Wednesdays at 10:25 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and on Saturdays at 10:25 p.m JST on Sun TV. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
