'Rainy Cocoa Series: Ame-con!!' Episode 6 Spoilers: What Role Will New Character Play in Rainy Color Café?

A new character has arrived as Nozomu continues to learn about Ka'u coffee on the short-form Japanese anime series, "Rainy Cocoa Series: Ame-con!!" Who could this character be, and what role will he be playing in the eventual progress of the Rainy Color's Waikiki branch?

Fans have previously speculated that the blond-haired owner of the Ka'u Specialty Coffee stall could be the advertised additional character named Maron, who will reportedly be voiced by Chiharu Sawashiro.

However, this speculation was quickly proven wrong when Mr. Ando introduced him as Chipper. The stall owner gave Nozomu a generous sample of his Ka'u coffee, which is especially known for its fruity accents and mild flavor. The coffee drink has also managed to maintain its balanced flavors even when prepared with ice.

And now that Nozomu has finally tasted how a genuine Ka'u coffee tastes like, and how it differs from the more familiar Kona coffee, he may be able to come up with new menu items brewed from the popular Ka'u coffee beans.

On the other hand, the arrival of a bespectacled character has gotten the shop dog, Nana, so smitten that the Shiba Inu even allowed the stranger to pat her head.

There are, once again, fan speculations that this may well be the Sawashiro-voiced new character, Maron. Additionally, since Nana has quickly warmed up to him, there is no doubt that he is a good and trustworthy guy.

But will he be able to contribute anything to Nozomu's continuing research on Ka'u coffee, or will he only end up being an unnecessary distraction for both the shop dog, Nana, and the café proprietor, Nozomu?

"Rainy Cocoa Series Ame-con!!" airs on Wednesdays at 10:25 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and on Saturdays at 10:25 p.m JST on Sun TV. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
