As reported in Games Radar, "Ratchet and Clank" the movie will premiere in April 2016. A trailer has already been released, giving fans an idea of what the story of the motion picture will be all about.
The game will also coincide with the movie. Insomniac Games revealed that the PS4 game will tell the story from the perspective of Captain Qwark. This is the reason why there's going to be a twist of events, thus, a different version from the origin story. As written in the Games Radar report, "It features modern Ratchet & Clank controls, new planets, new and improved gameplay, all-new boss fights, new flight sequences and much, much more."
But even with the slight stray from the original story, the same original gang will still be present.
