'Ray Donovan' Season 3 Likely, Premiere Date Speculated for July 2015

"Ray Donovan" is an American crime drama television series created by Ann Biderman which airs on Showtime. The show revolves around the story of Ray Donovan, a fixer for the law firm Goldman & Drexler which represents the rich and famous. Everything takes a downturn when his father, Mickey Donovan, was released from prison and the FBI are trying to take down Ray and his associates.

The series is already running for a third season but there are no announcements on when it will be premiered. Only recently, a promo video was released by Showtime to indicate that there indeed will be a third season, but nothing in the video shows anything new.

The promo video runs for 20-seconds and features Ray, his father Mickey, and Abby. Clips from season 2 play while a male voice-over sounds off in the background, "You don't know who you are anymore, Ray."

There are speculations that the third season will be premiering sometime in July of 2015 as the first and second seasons premiered roughly around that time. The cast and crew of the television series are expected to return to Calbasas early 2015 to begin filming.

While it may be true that a third season is certainly coming, spoilers won't be as abundant in the coming months as the script is still in its infancy and the series still hasn't begun filming. As for footage and an actual trailer of the third season, the earliest fans could see those would be at least a month or two before the actual premiere of the season.
