'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Update: NeNe Leakes Returns; Kenya Moore Feuds with Newbie Kim Fields

Bravo's reality TV series "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is re-welcoming a familiar face in the show. According to a report by Design and Trend, NeNe Leakes gave the ladies of the show a surprise in last Sunday's episode. And although she earlier mentioned that she is happy without the negativities brought by the series, she still accepted the offer of a return.

As noted in Reality Tea, Cynthia Bailey invited Leakes to join the cast in Jamaica and she agreed. However, according to BravoTV.com, she was hesitant at first to surprise the ladies.

"At first I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to surprise the ladies or not, because mentally I was in a totally different head space that was peaceful," NeNe told BravoTV. She adds, "I didn't know if they would receive me well. I also had heard there were some new and old faces around, so I wasn't sure if our energies would work together."

The new face that Leakes is referring to is Kim Fields who is already making some buzz in the show because of her feud with Kenya Moore that aired in the last episode. Lawyer Herald detailed that Kenya Moore got angry at Bailey and Fields for working on the model's eyewear line commercial without her. Bailey decided to hand over the project to Fields because Moore was nowhere to be found during the creative meeting for the project. Bailey said that her no-show was very unprofessional.

Moore then started to question Fields' experience in commercials to which she told her, "How many commercials have you done, Kim? You probably haven't done any!"

Fields did not answer her though but as it turned out, Moore couldn't have been more wrong with her accusation. According to Radar Online, "The Facts of Life" star was in a popular 1970's ad for Mrs. Butterworth's maple syrup. Biographies also said that it was through that commercial that she got her role as Tootie Ramsey in the NBC sitcom.
