'Rock Band 4' Update: Three New DLC Tracks Revealed, April Update Teased
The 2015 music video game "Rock band 4" has received its DLC this week and it has added new tracks to its list. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, developer Harmonix released the update on Tuesday and has brought three new songs which will cost $1.99 individually.
The new songs include "Got Your Six" by American heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch, "Thunder & Lightning" by English rock band Motorhead and "Figure It Out" by English rock duo Royal Blood. Harmonix's description revealed that the addition of another song by Motorhead is in honor of the metal legend Lemmy Kilmister who departed on December last year.
"We're honored to add a track from the last album recorded by the band with band founder and metal legend Lemmy Kilmister," wrote Harmonix.
Harmonix has released as well a preview video of the game featuring the newly added songs in order to entice gamers to purchasing the DLC tracks. For Valentine's Day week, Shack News reported that Harmonix released DLC tracks that include songs by Bruno Mars, Generation X, Orleans and other more.
In other news, the issue regarding the new drum Overdrive exploit that arrived along with the February update has been addressed. It will be fixed in the March update which will be coming early in the month. However, the update and fix will also mean that there will be another leaderboard wipe with the drums, pro drums and band scores.
A few details about the April update have been revealed by the Cambridge-based game development company. They said that they will be doing a lot of individual song fixes in their back catalog by April. They will also be doing a leaderboard wipe for each affected song if necessary. There are no details yet on which song will be addressed but Harmonix stated that they will release a list soon.
