'Rookie Blue' Season 5 Spoilers: Exes Reunite for Undercover Mission (TRAILER VIDEO)

This week's "Rookie Blue" will bring Andy closer to one man in her life, while another man's career ends. The team goes undercover in the latest episode entitled "Going Under."

After last week's "Rookie Blue," fans were thrilled to see rookie Duncan finally leave the show, but will he manage to make his way back onto the squad? Everyone knows that he has connections in high places and could possibly manipulate those connections in order to keep his job. Meanwhile, the rest of the squad must move on to their next case and that involves going under cover.

Sam comes back into play as he and Andy work together on a missing-persons case. This involves the two of them reuniting after Andy decided to take some time and figure out who she wanted to be with between Nick and Sam. However, that will all have to be put aside as the two work together; how will they get along during their investigation and will they be able to keep things professional?

"We're not back together. We have agreed that we're friends," Andy told Traci last week about her relationship with Sam. "I'm trying to be smart about the fact that we didn't work together for a reason." Traci didn't believe anything she said and had a hunch that Andy wasn't being entirely honest with herself or with Sam for that matter.

Viewers finally saw Gail connect with a victim, leaving room for the belief that Gail does have a heart and can be empathetic. After Gail confronted a woman about her bleeding all over her and needed to pay for her dry-cleaning, the woman died. Gail then learned that she had a daughter, and Gail's tough exterior finally broke and Gail broke into tears.

Will Gail now be more sympathetic and empathetic towards those she works with and helps? Only time will tell.

"Rookie Blue" airs Thursday nights on ABC.
