Samsung Galaxy A5 Release Coming in November, Galaxy A7 Possibly Being Released Next Year
Samsung's release of the Galaxy Note 4 and the Gear S aren't the only devices they have under their sleeve as a few other devices are slated for a 2014, particularly their Galaxy A series of smartphones. Unlike the Galaxy S series of smartphones, the A series is a line of mid-range phones which are supposedly more affordable than their full high-end brothers.
One of the phones, the Galaxy A5, is rumored for a scheduled release on November. The Web tech community hasn't been particularly quiet about it with leaks coming out here and there.
Rumors place that it will share the same unibody design as with the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which was originally presumed to be a South Korean exclusive. There's also speculations that the A5 will be getting a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor and a 5-inch screen with a 720p resolution. The A5 is the second in a line of three, with the first being the A3 which was already released some time ago earlier this year.
The A5 will be sold at around $400 without a contract.
The next in line is the biggest of the three, the Galaxy A7 which is speculated to be equipped with a 5.5-inch screen and is confirmed to be getting a full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution screen – at the very least in China. It is still unclear one whether the A7 will be getting 1080p resolution in other countries as well but it is highly likely.
The Galaxy A7's release date is still unknown but it will likely be released sometime next year and is expected to be the most expensive of the three, going for around $500 off-contract.
