One amazing statistic that shows what an influence James is on his team is that the Heat squad shot 60.4 percent when James was on the court in Game 2. However, in the time that he was off court that number fell to a ridiculously low 29.4 percent.
One reason for that is that James seems to be able to drive his team forward more and help them create more space to get the ball closer to the rim. In Game 2 when James was on court the average Miami shot was from 11.5 feet, as opposed to 16.2 feet when he was off court.
The statistics highlight what a large part of the Spurs game plan must be tonight; simply stopping LeBron James.
