However, Game 2 was a dozen times worse. The Thunders' offensive players were completely locked down and they managed to score just 77 points in the demoralizing 112-77 loss.
That puts them 0-2 down, which is bad enough, but the way in which they have been defeated over the first two games is probably the most concerning thing for the team.
The Thunder though are used to having their backs against the wall, and they have become experts at getting themselves out of tight spots. Whether they will this time around remains to be seen, but they will need to turn things on their head from here on out if they are to take down a powerful Spurs team.
Previously the Thunder managed to come back from being 2-3 down in the series to the Memphis Grizzlies, as well as come back from seven points down with just 50 seconds to go against the Los Angeles Clippers. Those are just two examples of how they have come good just in time this postseason, but they face potentially their most sticky situation now.
They simply cannot afford to go 0-3 down, meaning this is basically a must-win game for them.
