San Francisco 49ers Need Win Against Kansas City Chiefs to Hold on to Playoffs Chance
The San Francisco 49ers is scheduled to fight against the Kansas City Chiefs on Oct. 6 at 4:25 p.m. EST at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. With their incoming match this Monday experts are already out with their predictions and analysis on both teams. Both the 49ers and the Chiefs have 2-2 under their belts and both will need the win to keep hanging onto the chance of a playoffs.
The 49ers had a much-needed victory against the Philadelphia Eagles to keep them in the season, however, their offense and special teams were lacking even after being saved by their defense plays. Against the Chiefs they will need to step up their offense and defense if they don't want to lose their chance at playing in the playoffs.
The Chiefs also face a similar scenario where they need a win against the 49ers to secure their place in the playoffs. In week 1 they were defeated by the Tennessee Titans and then by the Denver Broncos before acquiring wins agaisnt the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots.
Either way, whoever wins will still be falling behind the Arizona Cardinals who have a 3-0 record this NFL season. The Cardinals will still have to play the Seahawks twice for a wild card spot while the Chiefs will face both Denver and San Diego if they do manage to win against the 49ers.
While it won't be essential for both teams to win the game but a loss would prevent them from playing in the playoffs.
