San Jose Sharks vs Los Angeles Kings Live Stream Free: Watch NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs Online (NBC TV Start Time)
The San Jose Sharks and the Los Angeles Kings will fight it out in Game 6 of their NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs series. The Sharks can end everything tonight with a win, but the Kings will be looking to use home advantage to claim the victory and force a winner takes all Game 7. The game tonight will start at 10 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through free live stream (details below).
The Kings have done amazingly well to get to where they are tonight. Having gone 0-3 down no one gave them a chance. But two games later they have won two straight games to bring them to 2-3, and tonight if they can claim a third straight win then they will tie the series and force a deciding match up for Game 7.
If the Kings manage to pull off an amazing escape and win the series they would become only the fourth team in NHL history to come back from an 0-3 deficit in the playoffs. Analysts are beginning to talk about the chances of that happening, but in all honesty there's still a lot of work to do if they are to claim that record.
Coming into tonight's game Jeff Carter has tried to keep his feet firmly on the ground and put things into perspective by saying, "It's been done before. We're halfway there. Halfway up the mountain."
The Sharks meanwhile must be starting to panic a little. At 3-0 they looked like they would be closing things out quickly. But now with each time they fail to finish the Kings off they are feeling more and more pressure, and doubts will be starting to creep into some players' minds.
San Jose will be feeling this is a must-win game – they will not want this to go to a Game 7 in which the momentum would be firmly in Los Angeles' favor.
