It was revealed that the second half of "Scandal" season 5 will be featuring a six-month time jump. With that, fans have been wondering about what the different characters of the series will be up to in the upcoming episodes.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Kerry Washington shared some hints about her character, Olivia Pope. She revealed that the return of the series will see a changed Olivia. It was stated that her vital decision from the midseason finale played a big role in Olivia's future.

Washington stated, "She's definitely changed. What happened at the end of the winter finale is a huge decision for her, and she's a different woman because of it."

Meanwhile, the executive producer of the series, Shonda Rhimes, recently shared some details about the return of "Scandal" season 5. She said, "She's definitely changed. The people that you're coming back to for the second half of the season have been fundamentally changed forever when we come back to them.
