'Scorpion' Season 4 Spoilers: A Musical Number to Celebrate Paige and Walter's Relationship

When CBS' tech-drama "Scorpion" returns with an all-new season, Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter's (Elyes Gabel) relationship will take a romantic turn.

As revealed in a sneak peek into the upcoming season, the show opens with a musical number. It picks up where it left off in the preceding installment, the morning after Paige and Walter's intimate night.

"I feel like the sun is shining and the birds are singing — and the high pitch from its coo tells me it's an English short-faced pigeon," Walter sings in the clip

Paige responds, "I feel mighty groovy. I feel mighty fine, because you're sweeter than a pie."

Although the musical is to celebrate the momentous turn, fans can expect to see and hear the rest of the cast to break out in song.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, producers shared that they opted to do a musical to highlight what to expect now that Paige and Walter are an official couple.

"It doesn't mean that the show still isn't going to be fun, because so much of the fun was in the will-they-won't-they," executive producer Nick Santora said. In addition, the exec teased that the relationship will not always be rainbows and butterflies because, as he said, one is a genius while the other is human.

Santora penned the lyrics to a song called "Everything Absolutely Genius," while the music was composed by Tony Morales.

As for the married couple Happy (Jadyn Wong) and Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas), they will be facing their own challenges that might have something to do with expanding their family.

Santora teased that the pair will be thinking about pro-creating; however, he did not say how it will go for them. The exec did not say for sure if Happy will be ending up pregnant in the upcoming season.

"Scorpion" season 4 premieres Monday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
