Sebastian Stan Talks About 'Avengers: Infinity War'
Sebastian Stan, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier, is reprising his role for the upcoming "Avengers" flick, "Infinity War." But like many fans of the MCU, he knows just about as much as we do.
The movie is shrouded in secrecy, even to the actors of the film. Speaking to Collider, Stan revealed what it was like filming for "Infinity War." He said, "I didn't read a script for the last movie, so I was kind of in the dark. He continued, "Which is always okay for the Winter Soldier."
Although he once played a central role in the last two "Captain America" films, we can only assume it is not as major as it used to be, given that he was not granted full access to the script. If not, then Marvel might be taking extra lengths to keep the storyline a secret.

When asked about how the film differs from preceding ones, given that it is immensely larger in scope as all characters are set to converge in this one, Stan said that for his part it appeared "kind of loose and relaxed." But ultimately, he had fun.
According to the actor, his lack of knowledge about the rest of the flick did not affect how he carried out his scenes. He attributes the success of such a system to their family-like structure. He believes that the element of trust is what makes it possible. Additionally, he has gotten used to how the Russo brothers want things done, so it was easier for him to jump into character.
The Russo brothers, Anthony and Joseph, are set to helm both upcoming "Avengers" titles. The pair has directed films in the MCU before. Their first introduction to the MCU was "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and then they proceeded with "Captain America: Civil War."
"Avengers: Infinity War" is expected to premiere on May 4, 2018.
