Selena Gomez Flashes New Tattoo After Ending Relationship With Justin Bieber (PHOTO)

Selena Gomez revealed her latest tattoo via social networking site Instagram on Wednesday.

The "Come & Get it" singer, 21, reportedly got a self-love quote inscribed in Arabic on her back, a few inches below her right shoulder and tattoo artist to the stars, Bang Bang, revealed exactly what it means.

While Gomez only shared the photo yesterday, Bang Bang claims he inscribed the ink on the former Disney star one month ago. The Arabic words translate to "Love Yourself First," which is exactly what Gomez has been focused on doing in recent weeks amid the chaos surrounding her love life with Justin Bieber.

"She had been wanting this one for a while," Bang Bang reportedly told E! News.

"Selena already had it written out how she wanted. The tattoo is about 4 inches, and didn't take too long, probably about 30-45 minutes," he continued. "The longest part is laying it out. We played with it a bit laying it out, until we found the perfect spot."

Bang Bang revealed that Gomez currently has "about 5-6 tattoos now," three of which were inscribed by him.

"Art by @bangbangnyc --from my first to my last. It's always this fool," Gomez captioned alongside the Instagram photo of her tattoo.

In recent weeks the pop singer has kept a low profile as insiders claim she and Bieber, who have dated on and off since 2011, split again due to trust issues.

Gomez has reportedly spent time bettering herself in recent weeks as she heals from their latest split and despite the drama, she and Bieber still respect one another.

"There will forever be an emotional connection for them, but they don't have a title to their relationship," said another source.

"He is not her boyfriend, but the feelings are always going to be there," the insider continued adding "[Selena] is trying to move on with her life and focus on her."
