'Shadow Warrior 2' DLC: Xbox One, PS4 Versions to Launch This Spring

Game developer Flying Wild Hog recently revealed that the first-person shooter game "Shadow Warrior 2" will finally land on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms this spring.

Flying Wild Hog made the announcement through its official Twitter page on Friday, March 17. Not only was it mentioned that the video game is finally getting versions for the PS4 and Xbox One, it was also revealed that all of the downloadable contents (DLCs) released will be a part of the launch of the console versions.

However, the game developer mentioned a caveat, saying that the console versions of the video game will only push through if all the certification requirements would go according to plan.

On the same day, it was also announced that the free DLC for "Shadow Warrior 2" titled "Bounty Hunt Part 1" had arrived. The update comes with 14 new missions, two new weapons as well as four new perks for Lo Wang and the gang. A gameplay trailer for the latest DLC update has also been released.

The 14 new missions have catchy names such as "Plague of the Bunny," "Danger Zone on Mt. Akuma," "50 Shades of Shade," and more. Based on the opening seconds of the trailer, the new missions will be accessible via a Bounty Board, which is located in the middle of the Wang Cave.

The DLC pack will be introducing two new weapons in the game — the Medusa Ray and the EX-GF01 minigun. Gamers will also be able to use the Revenge and Shared Pain Perks when attacking demons.

"Bounty Hunt Part 1" is the second free DLC expansion launched for "Shadow Warrior 2," and is more substantial than its predecessor, "The Way of the Wang." The previous DLC was launched in December, bringing in expanded crafting and introducing a series of new trials to the video game.

"Shadow Warrior 2" is currently available on PC via Steam, GOG and Devolver Digital.
