Shaq 2-Year-Old Loss: Shaquille O'Neal Beaten by Kid in Free Throw Contest on Jimmy Kimmel Live (VIDEO)
Shaq has been beaten by a 2-year-old in a free throw competition on talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Young Titus Ashby delighted viewers by taking on the NBA legend on Thursday night, outscoring in to cheers from the audience.
The free throw competition saw the two year old shoot from about 6 feet away from the basket, where as the NBA superstar was given the task of shooting from 18 feet, which is slightly longer than a regular free throw.
The difference in distance was measured according to their size and height to try and even up the playing field between the two to be "fair."
Shaq invited his opponent to go first, and the 2-year-old confidently stepped up. Titus took a few shots to get into his groove but then came back strongly and sank eight baskets in total in his 30 seconds.
Shaq then stepped up to big cheers from the audience, and even though he tried to please the fans he couldn't find his measure at all and after his allotted time he scored a big fat zero.
As Titus was announced the winner, confetti was released down on the studio as everyone applauded and cheered for the youngster.
Shaw, the great sportsman that he is, gave Titus a congratulatory high five, and also handed over a gift as a memento for the kid – one of his ginormous shoes.
