Sofia Vergara Attends Emmy Awards With Son

"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara attended the 2017 Emmys with her son, Manolo.

Sofia, 45, looked youthful in a strapless white gown with a sweetheart neckline. The dress featured a pleated bodice and a mermaid tail skirt, which further accentuated her hourglass figure. Her long brown hair was all bundled up in a high ponytail, except for a little fringe.

The actress accentuated her look with large earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and a black diamond ring but the entire look could not have been complete without her son, Manolo, 26, by her side, who proves that good looks do run in the family.

Manolo looked dashing in a classic black single-button suit as he stood side-by-side with his mother for the red carpet event. Sofia and her son have been attending the award show together since 2012.

The Colombian actress' husband, Joe Manganiello, on the other hand, was nowhere to be found.

According to Vergara, her husband could not make it to the event due to prior commitments. He has been shooting in New York for an upcoming film so she invited her son instead.

Joe and Sofia are expected to share the screen in the upcoming film, titled "Stano." They have been filming in New York since July.

"Stano" follows the story of a man who lost his shot at a professional basketball career and also lost the love of his life to a violent mistake he committed when he was young. He returns to the Bronx after serving his time in prison for 17 years.

Not much has been said about the film, but Sofia is expected to star as Joe's love interest.

The couple started dating back in July of 2014. It was in December of the same year that they got engaged. They tied the knot in November of the following year in Palm Beach, Florida.
