Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Review: Specs, Features Overview

Tech manufacturers are making huge progress when it comes to designing tablets. Just a few years ago, tablets came in two sizes only—the 7 inch or 10-inch tablet. But now, so many other sizes have popped up, giving people more options.

The Sony Zperia Z3 Tablet Compact is one device that has showed true innovation as it has a very slim yet compact form, and within its exterior lies Sony's latest software features and is possibly one of the few tablets that can rival the iPad mini and Galaxy Tab S.

Design:
The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is slim at 6.4mm and is slightly taller than other tablets at 8.40 inches, but is narrow at 4.87 inches. It's also extremely light as it weighs only 9.52 ounces, making it a joy to carry around anywhere. It's IP65/68 certified, which means it can survive a 30-minute dip in no more than 1.5 meters of water. The back of the device is covered in soft plastic, while the corners are made of stainless steel.
