'Star Trek Beyond' Leak: USS Franklin Shown In Concept Art

The concept art for the upcoming movie titled "Star Trek Beyond" was recently leaked.

It was reported that fans were able to take a look into the upcoming production of "Star Trek Beyond." With that, fans got a sneak peek into the new Federation star ship. It shows that the name of the new vehicle is USS Franklin.

It was revealed that the USS Franklin will be an important vessel in the upcoming movie. The film hinted at the significance of the USS Franklin in its previously released trailer. One of the teasers shows Spock wearing a USS Franklin jacket.

From that, there are many theories as to what the plot of the upcoming movie will be. The trailer revealed that the movie will portray the destruction of the Enterprise. With that, there are theories that the USS Franklin is one of the ships that crashed on the planet.

Aside from the leak, Entertainment Tonight recently got to look into the set of "Star Trek Beyond." One of the actors, John Cho, also shared some interesting details about the cast's experience while filming. Cho stated, "At the beginning of the movie, we're all homesick, we're all getting into our ruts and I think we've been around each other too long."

In addition, he also shared insights about his character's new baby in the film. He stated, "Sulu has a heartache for his little baby. He had brought his picture to his console, which technically, we've been saying, it's unprofessional. It's in the way of the buttons."

Along with Cho, the cast of the film includes Chris Pine as Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Karl Urban as Bones, Simon Pegg as Scotty, Zoe Saldana as Uhura, and Anton Yelchin as Chevok.

"Star Trek Beyond" is expected to hit theaters on July 22.
