Boyega explained that they have already started working on the next installment of the "Star Wars" franchise. During his interview, he stated, "Yes, at last! Han Solo dies, OK? He dies. Phew. It feels good. But now, we just starting work on Star Wars VIII, the next film, so I'm back to keeping secrets again."

Despite the secrecy, he was asked if he could disclose any information regarding the script for episode 8. While he did not share any major plot details, he commended the writers of the script and expressed his excitement for it. He also added that the film will have a much darker theme compared to the previous film.

With the lack of details regarding the plot, fans have been developing their own theories about Rey's, played by Daisy Ridley, lineage and story line. There have been many speculations that she and Kylo Ren, played Adam Driver, could be cousins or even siblings.

While there has yet to be any confirmation regarding the matter, fans can expect that "Star Wars: Episode 8" will be able to answer some burning questions from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

"Star Wars: Episode 8" is slated for release in 2017.
