Steam Fall Sale Ongoing, Up to 90 Percent Discount on Select Games

Steam is making ready for its Fall sale as its set to begin on Nov. 26. PC gamers would want to ready themselves as a plethora of massively discounted games are making its way. Although Valve has not made any official announcements, an email from PayPal had encouraged customers to stock up on Steam Wallet Codes from the PayPal Digital Gift store.

The start of the Steam Fall sale comes to no surprise as the previous Fall sale started at around the same time in 2013, from Black Friday and then ending on Cyber Monday. Sales for this Fall will be including general sales, Daily Deals which last 48 hours, and Flash Sales which change every eight hours.

Steam sales are both feared and looked forward to by gamers as games – even newly released ones – are set up with hugely steep discounts of up to 90 percent off. Even off sale weeks, games can come with 30 percent discounts. This can tempt gamers to purchase a huge number of games, resulting in empty wallets.

While the Fall sale only lasts for a week, gamers would only have to wait a few weeks more before the Holiday Sale, Steam's event for the Christmas season. If anything, the Fall sale could be considered as an appetizer, as the Holiday Sale comes at a different level.

For those with Steam accounts, the sale is already ongoing.
