Diehard "Stranger Things" fans know too well that the quartet spent a lot of time at Mike's basement in the first season. However, in season 2, the teenagers will be spending more time in an arcade called The Palace, a reference to the '80s movie "WarGames," where their lives will intertwine with a new "Stranger Things" character, Keith (Matty Cardarople).

"Our very first idea for season 2 was to introduce a local arcade. We love board games but in truth have spent more time playing videogames (too much time, our mom might say), so we wanted to weave them into the fabric of the show. An added bonus: every game in the arcade worked, so we got to play between takes," The Duffer Brothers, "Stranger Things" creators, revealed to Entertainment Weekly recently.

Speaking of Keith, the Duffer Brothers have revealed that the new character is a worker at The Palace and will be creepy to a certain extent. He may be several years older than Will, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas, but his level of maturity will be way lower than those of the quartet. While he is crazy about a particular snack, it is suggested that he will pick Mike's sister, Nancy (Natalia Dyer), if he has to choose between the two.

"The only thing he likes more than Cheetos is Nancy," the Duffer Brothers joked.

"Stranger Things" season 2 arrives on Netflix this Oct. 27.
