Teen Kicked in the Head by Train Conductor for Selfie Too Close to Tracks (VIDEO)

A kid was kicked in the head by a train conductor for taking a reckless and dangerous video only inches from the train tracks Tuesday. Jared Michael seemed to be taking a selfie video when the incident occurred and the conductor taught him a lesson he won't soon forget.

Michael was standing very close to the train tracks, intending to take a video. We can hear the horn in the background, but he ignores it in favor of the video. But the conductor isn't having it.

Just as the train rode by, a huge black boot smacks the teen directly in the face, taking him by surprise and knocking his headphones askew. Jared couldn't help but exclaim at the incident, and seemed more interested that he caught it on video than nearly being hit by a train.

"Wow, that guy just kicked me in the head! I think I got that on film!" he said.

The video has since gone viral, getting over 7.7 million hits. Still, many of the viewers weren't impressed with his reckless behavior.

"That's what you get for risking your life for a [expletive] selfie!" one YouTube user wrote.

Another viewer pointed out that a ledge was sticking out of the train and likely could have seriously injured Jared, but the train conductor acted fast and potentially saved the teen's life.

"The train operator risked breaking his leg while putting it between the hard metallic edge and kid's head in order to soften the impact," a redditor suggested.

This isn't the first time people have attempted dangerous stunts with trains. YouTuber SA Wardega stopped a train in a full Gandalf outfit, imitating the famous wizard from Lord of the Rings.

"You shall not pass!" he cries. "Fly, you fools," he adds, as many of his small companions run past the train.

That stunt also went viral, gaining 6.5 million hits as of this article.
