'Teen Wolf' 100th and Final Episode, News Details: Filming for Season 6B Wraps Up; Stiles Not Returning?

MTV's horror teen drama, "Teen Wolf," wrapped up filming for their last and 100th episode on Friday, March 10. The cast and crew of the show celebrated this feat with none other than a "Teen Wolf"-themed cake.

Unfortunately for many fans who are anticipating the return of Dylan O' Brien in season 6, the actor was nowhere to be found in the on-set celebration pic.

Present, however, were Tyler Posey, Shelley Hennig, Dylan Sprayberry, Holland Roden, Khylin Rhambo, Melissa Ponzio, Ryan Kelley, Susan Walters, Linden Ashby, Gideon Emery, Ian Bohen, Sibongile Mlambo, Froy Gutierrez, and Andrew Matarazzo, plus JR Bourne's floating head.

In the series, O'Brien plays Stiles, who was taken by Ghost Riders but was able to come back in the end of the first part of season 6 to give his sweetheart, Lydia (Roden), a kiss - a long-awaited moment for most fans of the show. It is still unclear if the actor will still have a part in the second half of season 6, his return remains unconfirmed as of the moment.

As for what fans can expect from the second part of season 6 (known as season 6B), executive producer Jeff Davis previously revealed that it will pick up months after Scott's (Posey) graduation.

"Something happens to interrupt that where they realize that they may have to stay in Beacon Hills just a little bit longer before they can finally say goodbye," Davis teased during an interview with HollywoodLife.

In another interview with Entertainment Weekly, the producer also adds that one of Scott's fears is not ever leaving Beacon Hills, and wonders if he can go live a life of his own apart from being a supernatural protector. Whether or not Stiles can leave his old life will be explored extensively in "Teen Wolf's" season 6B.

As for Stiles' possible return, Davis keeps it an open question, saying that his future "remains to be seen," further teasing fans with the question (via EW), "Is this the end of Stiles' character with Teen Wolf?"

"Teen Wolf" season 6B has no exact release date yet, but it is expected to air around summer of this year.
