'Teen Wolf' Season 5B Trailer For Midseason Premiere To Air On MTV
Just a few more days left until the year closes and that could only mean one thing—American television series "Teen Wolf" season 5B is coming soon. Fans can kick off their 2016 by catching all-new episodes of the show which will begin to air on Tuesday, Jan. 5 on MTV.
But even before it is back on the small screen, fans are given a chance to have a quick glimpse of what's to come to the show. According to Variety, MTV will be ditching its traditional New Year's Eve countdown special this year to air a marathon of "Ridiculousness" which will start on Thursday at 6 a.m. EST.
It will then be shortly interrupted by a brand new six-minute teaser of "Teen Wolf's" season 5B premiere, which is expected to go on live at exactly 12 midnight. MTV will then return to airing back-to-back episodes of the Internet video clip show until 7 a.m.
According to Design & Trend, the show released a 25-second teaser earlier this week. And although most of the scenes were already shown in the official trailer for season 5B, there were some fresh scenes that were never seen before.
The trailer, which is titled "They're All Going to Die," featured a different angle of an oni. Scott (Tyler Posey) is also seen writhing in pain after being thrown into the ground. His attacker is not revealed but considering his partial transformation, it's no question that he is dealing with another supernatural creature.
Another notable scene that caught many of the fans' attention is the part where a woman figure emerges from beneath the sand. It's not known yet who or what it was but speculations say that the character could be a skinwalker, which is a supernatural creature found in Native American legends.
To catch more spoilers, fans will have to wait for the midseason premiere teaser video.
