Teri Hatcher Housewives Film? Actress Says She'd Love a Desperate Housewives Movie (VIDEO)
Teri Hatcher has insisted that a Desperate Housewives film would be amazing. The comments will be exciting news for fans of the hit TV show, who would welcome a movie version of the show in their millions.
Despite Hatcher's comments that she would love to see a movie be made, those words have no indication on whether one will in fact be made or not.
Hatcher was talking to Extra this week when she also admitted that she knew a movie version of the TV show would be hugely popular with fans.
She did add that there was definitely nothing at the moment being planned, but also mentioned that if a script for the movie suddenly landed on her desk she would absolutely give it attention.
Hatcher of course played Susan Meyer on Desperate Housewives, and she told Extra: "I love the fans of the show so much, and they don't seem to be done with those characters. I think it would be great for them. If a script ever came across my lap, I would read it, hoping that it would work out, but I don't really see that happening."
The long-time running show concluded in 2012 with a dramatic climax, with everything wrapped up, and Hatcher has not been lacking for work since then.
She has performed in a number of Funny Or Die skits, and also appeared on the television shows Jane By Design and Jake And The Neverland Pirates. She also performed the voice of Dottie in the new children's movie Planes.
The actress, who is currently single and also has a 15 year old daughter, spoke about love life, saying: "What I want to do is share all this great experience… it would be really fun to share it with someone special. I have a window that's more open than it used to be, and I imagine that someone will come in it."
