'The 100' Season 5 Spoilers: Ruthless Assassin to Hunt Down Clarke

A merciless serial killer will be hunting down Clarke (Eliza Taylor) in the upcoming season of "The 100."

According to TVLine, "Power" alum Mike Dopud has been tapped to play an important character in the new installment. He will play the role of an assassin who is aboard the mysterious ship that appeared during the last finale. As previously hinted, the vessel contains prisoners and villains whose only thought is to survive. Vinson is described as an upstanding intellectual, but he is dangerous. He is actually a serial killer, "terrifying enough to keep even the worst of the criminals on their toes."

Clarke will definitely need to watch her back in season 5. When that ship eventually lands on the ground, Vinson will be there to catch her. With her only companion a little Nightblood, there is no chance of her overpowering a man like a prisoner. Vinson will not be the only villain she will face. There is still the show's new big bad, to be played by Spanish actor William Miller. Clarke will need Bellamy (Bob Morley) by her side to weather it all. A promo photo released shows that he will reunite with her soon.

Clarke and Bellamy, however, will find that even after years have passed since Praimfaya, the world is still a dangerous place to live for the survivors. Spoilers indicate that the nuclear holocaust has destroyed all the food sources. They will have to deal with hunger and malnutrition in their tribe. Executive producer Jason Rothenberg recently teased that there would be no food to eat in the Polis since the deathwave. Clarke will have to find a new food source to feed her people fast, or else, she will be dealing with an angry, starving mob soon.

"The 100" season 5 is expected to air in 2018.
