'The Bachelorette' 2016 Finale Spoilers & Updates: Rumors that JoJo Fletcher Gave Final Rose to Jordan Rodgers over Robby Hayes May Not Be True
"The Bachelorette" 2016 finale on Monday is anticipated to be melodramatic than ever. Claims that JoJo Fletcher dumped Robby Hayes to accept the knee-bended proposal of Jordan Rodgers have been circulating around. But some avid followers of ABC's reality dating show refuted that these spoilers may not be true.
No Happily Ever After for Fletcher?
Hollywood Take sources revealed that Fletcher will give her final rose to Rodgers in "The Bachelorette" final rose ceremony, which was shot in Phuket, Thailand last May. But the story does not end there. Writer Reality Steve claimed that the 25-year-old real estate developer has already broke up with the 27-year-old former football quarterback shortly after the May engagement.
According to Hollywood Take, "The Bachelorette" producers have convinced Fletcher and Rodgers to stay together for the sake of the show. They are expected to fake their romance until the airing of the "After The Final Rose" episode.
Speculations that Fletcher indeed dumped Hayes for Rodgers intensified after Womanista's interview with the former athlete's elder brother. Luke Rodgers implicated that his sibling and Fletcher are a couple.
How Fletcher Made Her Final Choice
US Weekly did not pinpoint who among Hayes and Rodgers was picked by Fletcher during the all-important rose ceremony, however, it gave details how the bachelorette made her final decision. According to the magazine, Fletcher made her choice after one of the top two suitors forgot to ask permission from her parents, Joseph and Soraya, before the proposal.
"It was important to JoJo that the guys get her parents' permission before proposing. JoJo viewed it as disrespectful that he didn't," the source claimed.
So Did Fletcher Really Dump Hayes?
Some avid viewers are not buying the spoilers that insisted Fletcher chose Rodgers in the final rose ceremony. According to some fans, if Fletcher mainly based her decision on her parents' opinion, then Hayes should be her final choice.
CDL reported that Soraya was insulted after Rodgers brought "gag gifts." On the other hand, Hayes gained the approval of Fletcher's parents for being genuine and thoughtful.
Chrissy Bobic of Romper commented that Fletcher will most likely pick Hayes because she had kept him amid accusations that the 27-year-old swimmer dumped his longtime girlfriend just to be on the show. "Keeping Robby around on 'The Bachelorette' after that ex drama shows us how possible it is for JoJo to pick Robby in the end," she stated.
But an Astro Twins' zodiac expert Ophi Edut told New York Post that Fletcher will not find her happily ever after no matter which man she picks at the final rose ceremony. Edut explained that Fletcher is drawn to Hayes but they would be a terrible match because "they will never be on the same page."
